Project description:

Within the framework of the project, one BOXMATIC M23 DCFM-D type box production line was purchased. The machine produced a small number of small but accurate, pre-printed, high quality products, which made the market available to Poligran Kft. With the new machine, they can supply boxes to companies in the vicinity of the company, not only in the automotive industry, and thus increase their market share. Preliminary discussions have been held with local representatives of the wineries to produce printed and higher-strength boxes that will better protect the products and ensure their market presence. In addition, the development of storage (bar-coding technology) by the multinational companies assessed so far requires the addition of other security marks to the refrigerated boxes. The new product introduced is also ideally suited to this purpose. The box making machine was much needed to enable the company to gain a market for the accurate and printed boxes it produces, so that it can enter other segments of the packaging market. Fewer workers were needed due to reduced orders as a result of the coronavirus, but Poligran Kft. aims to keep its employees. Thus, by expanding the product range, it was possible to retain staff. The machine was able to address this niche market for higher quality, more accurate pre-printed boxes and ensure the company’s continued growth. The success of the product is ensured by prior market research, surveys and a high quality production line.
